case of troubles
Audio files are
usually stored as .mp3 files to compress their size and speed-up the download.
- If you want to retrieve the file,
just click on the link (i.e. the ear with the right mouse button and select
"Save object with name". After you have saved it on your
local computer you will be able to listen to it with your favorite .mp3
player.
- If you only want to listen to it
double click on the ear and your selected browser player will pop-up and you
will listen to the sound directly (this might take several seconds depending
on your connection and size of the file, just be patient, it will come!
- If you are attempting to download a
non-audio (e.g. a document, an image) file just use the first method
above.
